By Georgia Morris, Little Rock Arkansas

Kweni Chess Club in the Ivory Coast in action!!!! We are now in the prison that consist of minors. We are presenting them with HOPE and L0VE and showing them that we care enough to help them change their life style by teaching them critical thinking skills and much more through this game of life, we call CHESS!!!! Thankful to everyone involved. To God be the Glory!!!!!

Thankful to everyone who donated to my annual Facebook Birthday Fundraiser this year. This year’s donation went toward the KWENI Chess Club (our partners) for chess supplies and chess coaches in the Ivory Coast and West Africa. So every time you see my post for KWENI Chess Club, know that you help it happen.

For more information about our organization and how you can donate, contact us or click on link below: https://www.kweni.org/

Chess teaches foresight, by having to plan ahead; vigilance, by having to keep watch over the whole chess board; caution, by having to restrain ourselves from making hasty moves; and finally, we learn from chess the greatest maxim in life - that even when everything seems to be going badly for us we should not lose heart, but always hoping for a change for the better, steadfastly continue searching for the solutions to our problems. -Benjamin Franklin
